My good friend Petros from Nicosia told me he had found a good
taverna in Paralimni. Petros is a very discerning diner and if
he says a restaurant is good it must be brilliant.
On my last stay in Larnaca October 2009 I visited this taverna
in Paralimni with Petros and am pleased to say the food and service
was excellent.
We had a meze, and every morsel that was placed in front of me
was a culinary delight. The salad was fresh, the halloumi melted
in my mouth and the home made sausages were the best I had ever
tasted. Costas the chef and owner of this establishment was the
Cypriot equivalent of Jamie Oliver. He had made a sweet from cucumber
and olives, sounds strange, I am not a lover of cucumber but this
particular sweet I really enjoyed.
I was also lucky enough to be shown around the kitchen. The hygiene
standards were excellent, every thing spotlessly clean and all
preparation areas separate and colour coded. Give this Taverna
in Paralimni a try; you will not be disappointed, highly recommended

Update 2010 we had another visit and were not dissapointed
