All this George business started because
I had made one simple animated George many years ago. I
was approached by a company that sold animations for mobile
phones and they liked the George animation but suggested
I should add a beany hat to him. It was a lot harder to
do than the animation looks but in the end I succeeded and
the one below is the result. I never sold any animations
though, it was a very competitive market. I had a little
more success as a Flash animator for a new social networking
site called Wallop and the Santa George was born then, I
embedded the gif animation into a Flash file and added him
to the collection. i gave up with Wallop after a while and
decided to concentrate on animated gifs.
