Dot and Dave's favourite car hire company in Paphos

We have been using them for 14 years

car rental PaphosIf you going to Cyprus and you want to hire a car or four wheel drive jeep in Paphos then Paforentals are highly recommended by Dot and Dave of Sevenoaks Art. We have been going to Cyprus for 14 years now and each time we stay in Paphos Cyprus we use this Paphos car rental company.

The team of Antonis, Dinos and colleagues have always looked after us well and given excellent car rental service and the vehicles are well looked after and purchased brand new (not second hand like some car hire rental companies) They give a 24 hour roadside breakdown service, which we have never had to use, although we have traveled and explored most of Cyprus and always visit the mountains. They also have their own MOT service which means that the cars are always in the best condition. If you intend to explore some of the remote villages well away from the busy streets of Paphos or would like to visit some of the remote coastal places like Turtle bay we would always recommend something like the Jimny illustrated here. Pafo car rentals always leave a car at Paphos airport for us with explicit instructions on how to find it, but you can also have it left at a place of your choice like the hotel car park which makes travelling arrangements so much easier. Remember that they drive on the left hand side of the road like drivers in the UK and I have found the Cypriot drivers to be more courteous than some I have come across in some of the other Greek Islands. In the height of summer air conditioning is essential, but we have had fun with an open top vehicle (Sun hats and loads of sunblock recommended)

A traditional Greek car hire service

To our way of thinking Pafos car rental is one of the best available and give that traditional Greek Cypriot service which is becoming harder and harder to find in Paphos these days. We have visited Pissouri which has a lovely sandy beach and ideal for wind surfing, Aphrodite's birth place, Kato Paphos where we often stay, Coral Bay which has a superb beach but gets very busy in the summer, Peyia a village that has many Brits, Polis and Latchi on the other side of the Island that have some very good fish restaurants, Troodos up in the mountains, the views are spectacular, Chlorakas, Kissonersa, Cape Drepanum, Agios Georgios that has a very good fish restaurant next to the church with views out across the sea, Polemi a quite and lazy village that is not too remote, Lysos a wonderful remote village up the hills that has some of the best Greek food available in the Paradisos hotel ( You can visit and just have food ) and many other interesting places thanks to this brilliant car rental service.
