This site has been put together with original custom made, award winning , free 3D animations created by Dot and Dave. Dave is the artist and Dot is the organiser who also thinks up the ideas for new animations and keeps Dave fed and watered. They both live in Borough Green Sevenoaks, a friendly little village on the outskirts of Sevenoaks. Even Internet Magazine had comments to make about our website a few years ago. If anyone wants to use the gifs on this site feel free to use them and download them to your hard drive . As Sevenoaks Art is an experimental web site animations will be added from time to time, so visit again sometime and check the news. Dot has her own page where she likes to update people with the latest news, what new creations are in the pipeline and anything else that has been happening in the life of these two "well matured" people.

Our web hosting is supplied by Discount Domains and has kept us running very smoothly for nearly ten years, click the spinning cube for more information. Our graphics are made using a combination of Schroff Silverscreen 3D modeling program, Artlantis renderer, Jasc Paint shop pro , Jasc animation shop and a lot of imagination with added inspiration from Dot. The 3D animated alphabet collection took Dave many months to create. The collection of butterflies were created using images from cigarette cards. Our sweet Victorian angels have been admired the world over, it is always nice to get feedback from people who appreciate the time and effort we have put into making the animated gifs on this website. We always welcome suggestions for new animations and often have many projects on the go at the same time.

The website started over ten years ago, Dave did not make any animations to start with and only uploaded 3D jpeg images like the examples in our header. A couple of American housewives sent an email and said that his work was very nice but why didn't he make some animated gifs from the 3D models that he had made. That was the start of hundreds of little 3D moving images. In the early days they were very crude and did not have a transparent background but over the years things have improved and Dave has experimented a great deal and developed some special techniques. His work has a distinctive look about it and has not got the soft edges that are often seen with anything built in 3D Max for example.

A new blog called Gallery no 3 has attracted our attention. It is a showcase for creative blogs and in the short time it has been open has had some really fantastic blogs put on show. We were very fortunate to have one of our blogs put into the gallery and we are very happy to let blog publishers know about this opportunity to get more exposure on the internet.

This website has a collection of 3D animated gifs that are truly original, all built by Dave and nothing scraped from other sites as many collections on the internet are. Have fun and use our animations in any way you like including commercial websites but do not add to another online collection, a link back to this website is always appreciated.
