I know that Dave's brother was a medium but I did not think Dave was psychic until I read this in the newspaper.

GORDEN BROWN IS A MATHS DUNCE

GORDON BROWN has admitted he is not very good at maths.

The Chancellor was being interviewed by schoolkids in Manchester when 13-year-old Jordan Beaumont asked him if he had to be good at maths for his job.

Brown laughed: "I did maths at school and for one year at university.

"But I don't think I was ever very good at it - and some people would say it shows."

The PM-in-waiting was at Chorlton High, recently marked out as a beacon of good practice for schools in the area.

But his visit got off to an embarrassing start when he greeted pupils with his left trouser leg tucked into his sock.

So what do we think of the animation posted in last weeks news?
Gordon Brown with a Dunces cap on? Maybe you do not have to be Psychic to know that.
But I do wonder if Gordon Brown is a relation of Frank Whiffen who used to wander about our village with
his trousers tucked into his socks

Dave has had a cold this week and seems to think that it is an excuse for knocking back large amounts of Southern Comfort to make himself feel better. Not a lot of animations have been made but he has added some more "mobile phone animations"

20 April 2007

For some time now I have been in disagreement with Dave over the new site he started called Sevenoaks Flash.
In the fist case it was to showcase some of the Flash animations he made for Wallop (what a disaster that was)
It was a nice site but we could not stop some of the selfish clever dicks who where direct linking to the Flash animations so Dave stripped off all the Flash and made it into a "naughty gif" animation site.
They were very tame compared to some things you find on the web and I was never that keen on them but he took very little notice of what I said, even though I refused to publicise them here.
Seems a couple of his American housewife "email" friends were not that keen either and told him so in no uncertain terms!
Sevenoaks Flash is now just experimental mobile phone animation site and a standby for extra bandwidth if we need it.(It's nice to get my own way sometimes)

Still getting requests for Awareness ribbons and Dave has worked out how to plant a name on them now.
Keep the requests coming , I need to keep Dave out of the pub somehow.

As for Gordon Brown, I know nobody that likes him, this animation just about sums it all up

The psychic page has a couple more animations on it now - whoooooooo??

Dave is supposed to be psychic but I get a strangle feeling that the only spirit that interests him is Southern Comfort, I am really surprised that he has not made a Southern Comfort animation, the look on his face when he posted this said that anything is possible.

Awareness ribbons have updated and more added

A little story from Dave's past has been added, it is something I know to be a fact because I was friendly with his sister at that time and lived just down the road. Everybody knew Frank "Ivan the terrible" who used to trundle about the village muttering to himself.

Yet another experiment on Dave's part - mobile phone animations - must admit they look good on his phone and he sent the farting teddy to his sister in a MMS text message- very typical of him.

07 April 2007

Yesterday the sun shined and it was a really nice warm day, the downside was that Dave got the garden chairs out, put on his shorts and sat in the garden drinking Southern Comfort, not a pleasant sight .
Later on he started a barbeque and left the kitchen window open so that the whole house was smoked out, we still have a nice aroma of Aberdeen Angus beef burgers floating about.
Talking of food, if anybody lives in our area (Borough Green and Sevenoaks Kent UK) I would recommend the Shanghai Chinese takeaway in Borough Green, great food and a lovely young lady called Jenny to look after you.

Dave has a friend on the net called Joe Kangol, he is a Vietnam Vet and some time ago he suggested Dave should make some gun animations. I am not keen on this sort of animation but sadly even in the UK they are becoming part of everyday life.

Happy Easter from both of us

31 March 2007

I said to Dave "Spring is here and the garden is looking very scruffy, its about time you did something about it" and he said "I cannot as I am on a roll at the moment making new animations"
Some excuse but I must admit he has been very busy with some very unusual ideas.

We now have some "legal" animations

Labels for use on ebay and online shops

"Under construction" animations

And of all things even a Ouija board (Maybe Dave got a message) and as for the eye,
no prize for guessing who it belongs to???

This web site is always under construction

A collection of cancer awareness ribbons has now been added

Dave is on a campaign.
First he made a no smoking page and now has made a do not drink drive page

I say every little helps, but I do wonder what he will come up with next.

He is threatening to retire and make even more animations , if he does I will go out to work full time as he would drive me around the bend if I had him home all the time.

17 March 2007

We have upgraded the Money page and improved the animations by giving them a transparent background.
Dave also added some Dollar animations as well

Its a pity Dave cannot make money as fast as he makes these dollars

With many of our friends and relations suffering from Cancer we thought it would be a good idea to create
a collection of animated Cancer awareness ribbons

Only a couple made so far but more to come

10 March 2007

The London page has been completed and the Red Bus looks great. It is the old version that Dave remembers as a kid when he lived in New Cross. In those days you could leave your back door open and feel absolutely safe.
These days you would not have any furniture if you went out and left your door open.

We also have a page with some more "red" London sights like the Underground sign but I am not too sure about the red letter box , is it the next Dr Who creature?

3 March 2007

Dave has now made some new Mothers Day animations

This flag is just one of them!

Over the years he has been asked for many animations but one that been requested on a couple of occasions is a London red bus. His brother had been a red bus driver and his dad a conductor so it is no surprise that Dave is now working on a red bus animation. I suggested that as he was brought up in London he should make a London page. As usual he just grunted but I think he will be making a red post box, telephone box and maybe a policeman's helmet as well.

24 Feb 2007

As promised a few more Irish animations have been added and even some new No smoking animations as well.
No surprise that Dave added some booze animations on this page

We are a little unhappy about the quality of some of the animations that were made many years ago and we (I should say Dave) are improving on many of the old ones, In the early days many of the animations had a white background rather than transparent and a few are still "hanging" around on this site. In time they will all have a transparent background suitable for a light coloured page unless otherwise stated.

Its often interesting to note the difference in the American language and English and looking at the Mothers Day gifs I noticed that Dave had used the English MUM rather than the American MOM in a couple of his animations. With English Mothers day fast approaching this is fine, Dave will be adding more to the collection by then but he will also be adding some MOM animations as well

The little Leprechaun sitting on the sign looks sweet, One of the new Irish animations!

17 Feb 2007

Well! Dave has been busy this week, not only has he updated the wedding page with new bells and a "just married animation" but he has also added English Rugby gif animations and even a Pancake day page.

Dave says that because he has an Irish Grandfather and with Saint Patrick's day fast approaching he is going to make a few more Irish gif animations. Typical that he mentions Irish whiskey, Baileys Irish Cream and Guinness would make good gif animations.

Our new Valentines animations attracted the best page view count ever , thank you very much for visiting.

Dave was asked to produce the animation below - I said I should have sent it to him!

Mind you If he had sent me a Valentine card and a bunch of red roses it would have been so out of character that I would have put a private detective on the case to see if he was being unfaithful

Comment from Dave. "Who would ever fancy an old bald fat ugly old git like himself"
