Every couple of weeks the animations are updated.
All animations are made by Dave and not a collection gathered from the web.

Its nice to see the first signs of Spring here in Kent England, The crocus and snowdrops are making an appearance and so is pussy willow.

The international monkey animations have been added.

We both love cockles, jelled eels, whelks and mussels so guess what, Dave is going to make some animations about them. Maybe next week.

Animated cursors is still a possibility but we are not sure if many people would want such a thing.

This week Dave has made some animations about Caffeine, the Google search engine. It has been reported that this new search engine would start to come into action in January 2010.

Next week we hope to add a few more monkeys, maybe similar to our proud bears that were created many years ago

Dave was always the odd one out in his family, in more ways than one, but mainly because he possessed some artistic qualities.

It’s nice to see that our grand daughter Molly at 4 years old may possibly carry on the family tradition. Her Artwork is very good and she will spend hours with a paintbrush and paper.

Watch out Dave, she will be on your computer next

This week Dave has updated the Olympic web page to reflect the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
He has added the animated Olympic medals, a Vancouver Olympic flag and an Olympic rings animation.

Don’t forget, if you have any ideas for new animations send us an email, it is not always easy thinking up new animations to add each week. Dave is finishing some animations about the new search engine Caffeine and I have suggested he should add some more monkey animations.

So I let Dave buy an iphone. He loves his little gadgets and this particular phone works well.

So much so that Dave built an animation of one. Sometimes he can be just a little sad.

He has recovered well from his mishap over the Christmas period and is now running and playing with his little grand daughter again. Seems like two kids together and definite partners in crime. He has had the all clear to travel again and we cannot wait to be on the aircraft to Cyprus again. It has been so cold and snowy here we need a little warmth and Greek hospitality again.

This week Dave has made the promised Scam animations, with so much of it going on he thought it only right to do something like this. He sometimes advices on some of the forums and it would break your heart to see some of the scam merchants ripping off newcomers to the internet who hope to make a few bob at home on their computer in these hard times.
On a slightly happier note Dave went into a shop in Sevenoaks to have a battery replaced and a new watch strap fitted while he visited the dentist. When he returned to the shop the owner and assistant were standing behind the counter with a very worried look on their faces. Dave said that before they said anything he knew something was wrong. They had broken the time adjustment bezel. Dave is a very laid back and placid person and when they said it would have to be returned to manufacturer at their cost he probably said fine and just smiled.
I picked up the watch the other day from a very friendly owner (I think) who said because of the inconvenience caused there would be no charge for battery or strap. Looks like a good reliable shop if you want keys cut or shoes repaired as well.

It’s a crazy world here at Sevenoaksart, No Scam animations on show this week because Dave, who very occasionally uses his Facebook account thought it would be a good idea to campaign for animated gifs as an option on Facebook. He has made a few animations saying we need animations on Facebook and has even started a petition. Soppy old s*d does not stand a chance of succeeding with this one, after all, I am sure many people like Facebook because they are not bombarded with flashing animations. Never mind it’s all in fun and he does not take anything too seriously but I honestly think that old age might be playing a part in that. Let’s hope that the proposed Scam animations come alive next week. We can live in hope.

We make any sort of animations even “young at heart” although Dave tries hard to convince me that he is an old boy.
One thing is for sure, he does not look it when he is getting up to all sorts of mischief with his four year old granddaughter.
I think she has also got her granddads artistic ability as she spends hours with coloured pencils, paint and paper.
In the time we have been on the internet we have noticed how just lately there has been an increase in online scams so next week we hope to produce some animations about this.

After four weeks of snow and freezing conditions we really wish we were back in Cyprus again, the first couple of weeks of this year have seen temperatures over 20 degrees C in Nicosia. We could have been there with friends and quite happily have stayed if all the snowed up airports in the UK were closed.
Of course it gave Dave an Idea to make some snow animations and they have been added to our ever growing collection of animations.
I think he needs to improve on the snow effect although I do realise that to make falling snow as an animated gif is not easy compared with the Flash snow Dave has generated.

We have been busy again rearranging things and taking the Google webmaster tools advice and making many of our description tags a little longer and better.
The experiment of placing a search box on each page did not work as few people used it. I suppose it is just as easy to return to the home page and look or search there for what you need.
We have added to our selection of butterflies the peacock butterfly animation as often seen in our Sevenoaks Art header.

The cheeky s*d is back to his normal form. A nice collection of animated monkeys but does he have to insult his sister like that.
She has been my best friend for many years and I went to school with her and I can say that she does not have bananas given to her as she walks down the street. She is more likely to be offered old clothes because she is not the best dressed person in Eltham.

Well it is a start of a new year; Dave has not made his normal resolution about cutting back on the Southern Comfort because he has. (Medication he is on)
I will return to my normal diet after overeating for a few days and we hope to see some new animations next week.
